Job Overview and Responsibilities
As a Virtual Customer Service Representative at Wayfair, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our customers via phone, chat, and email. Your primary goal will be to resolve customer inquiries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring that our customers are satisfied with their experience. Some of the key responsibilities of this role include:

Sympathetically assisting customers with post-order issues, such as shipping questions, damages, returns, replacements, assembly services, and order updates
Handling a high volume of customer contacts, with an expected 50-60 calls per shift
Meeting our high-performance bar by exceeding customer satisfaction targets, achieving customer support efficiency metrics, and completing other duties as assigned
Professionally engaging with customers to build relationships and resolve issues in a timely and effective manner
Listening actively and showing empathy to understand customer concerns and provide personalized solutions
De-escalating customer concerns by using peace-promoting skills to find mutually beneficial solutions
Thinking critically to resolve customer issues in a first-contact resolution approach
Being educated and adaptable, with the ability to navigate multiple programs, tabs, tools, and screens to quickly and accurately answer customer questions
Identifying areas for improvement and providing feedback to help us continuously improve our customer experience


Essential and Preferred Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:

A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent
Fluency in Spanish and English, with the ability to read, write, and understand both languages
Experience working with Windows Operating Systems or similar
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal downtime
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred qualifications include:

Bachelor's degree or higher
Previous experience in customer service or a related field
Experience working in a virtual or remote environment
Knowledge of customer service software and technology
