About the Role: Registered Nurse, Virtual Care We're seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Virtual Care team. As a Virtual Care RN, you will provide telephonic triage, directional patient care advice, and health education to our patients and their families. You will be responsible for assessing patients' health needs, developing and implementing care plans, and collaborating with our interdisciplinary care team to provide comprehensive and coordinated care. Key Responsibilities: Connect with patients via phone or video call to assess their health needs and provide personalized care advice Conduct health assessments, monitor patient health, and provide treatment solutions and health education Collaborate with our on-call providers and interdisciplinary care team to ensure optimal patient outcomes Utilize technology to monitor patients' vital signs and health status, and adjust care plans as needed Document patient interactions and care plans in our electronic health record system Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance our telehealth practices and patient outcomes Essential Qualifications: Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred Nurse Licensure Compact license required; may be required to obtain additional licenses in the future Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required within the first 90 days of employment Minimum of 2 years of acute clinical nursing experience preferred; minimum of 1 year of telehealth experience preferred Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams Strong clinical judgment, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to delivering exceptional patient care Preferred Qualifications: Bilingual (Spanish/Creole) preferred Experience with electronic health record systems and telehealth technology Knowledge of healthcare regulations and standards, including HIPAA and Joint Commission Certification in a specialty area, such as gerontology or telehealth nursing Career Growth and Development Opportunities Benefits and Compensation: We offer a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
