About the Role We are looking for a talented and experienced UX Designer to join our team on a remote basis. As a UX Designer, you will be responsible for crafting end-to-end experiences that delight our customers and drive business results. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including strategists, designers, researchers, and engineers, to develop and implement innovative design solutions that meet the needs of our customers. Key Responsibilities Develop and communicate industry-leading creative ideas that balance strategic growth with online business objectives (30%) Provide quality assurance for all creative deliverables (10%) Build and maintain relationships with merchandising, usability, SEO, technology, partner agencies, photographers, and other vendors (10%) Translate wireframes into comps, storyboards, and experience prototypes (50%) Requirements and Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong foundation in UX design principles, human-centered design, and design thinking. You should be proficient in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, iRise, and other design software. Minimum Qualifications Must be at least 18 years of age or older Must be legally authorized to work in the United States Mastery of current design tools, platforms, and versions of relevant software programs: Mac OS, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), iRise, and other design tools Understanding of motion design and the strengths and limitations of Flash, AfterEffects, Ajax, Flex, and other emerging platforms Preferred Qualifications 5-7 years of UX experience in an Enterprise or retail environment or a degree in a related field 5-7 years of experience working with agile software development teams Desire to thrive in fast-changing environments Demonstrated ability to initiate and self-manage complex projects Education and Skills The knowledge, skills, and abilities required for this role are typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or an equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job. You should have excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
