Job Overview and Responsibilities We are seeking an experienced UI Engineer to join our team, responsible for building user-centered software applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for creating reusable components and components for web-based applications and a keen eye for detail. As a UI Engineer at Netflix, you will be responsible for: Designing and developing responsive, data-intensive, and intelligent web applications using HTML5 and CSS Building reusable components using Web Parts or JavaScript frameworks such as React, Vue, Angular, Polymer, etc. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand and analyze business requirements Working closely with designers to implement visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces Ensuring the highest quality of code, following best practices and industry standards Staying up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in front-end development Essential Qualifications and Skills To be successful in this role, you will need: Strong proficiency in current JavaScript frameworks and web fundamentals Experience with building responsive, data-intensive, and intelligent web applications using HTML5 and CSS Expertise in creating reusable components using Web Parts or JavaScript frameworks Deep understanding of the DOM, web platform APIs, and their implementation concepts Excellent communication and presentation skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team Preferred Qualifications and Experience While not required, the following qualifications and experience are highly desirable: Experience working closely with design and product teams Experience driving, working with, and organizing client research Experience launching products and features to large and small audiences Strong understanding of front-end and back-end architecture and willingness to work across the stack Experience with agile development methodologies and version control systems such as Git Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At Netflix, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
