Job Description We are seeking an experienced Tutor and Cognitive Skills Coach to join our team of dedicated professionals. As a Tutor and Cognitive Skills Coach, you will work one-on-one with students to deliver our curriculum and improve their cognitive and academic skills. This is an exciting opportunity to work with students K-12 as well as adults, applying principles of neuroscience to learning. Key Responsibilities Deliver our curriculum to students to improve their cognitive and academic skills, including memory, executive functioning, and problem-solving, as well as content areas of reading, writing, and math. Work one-on-one with students to identify and address their learning challenges and disabilities. Develop and implement customized coaching and tutoring programs to meet the unique needs of each student. Use video conferencing to deliver services to students nationally and internationally. Collaborate with other coaches and staff to ensure high-quality services and support. Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date on best practices and new research. Essential Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Education or a related field (no exceptions will be made). Teaching certificate (current, expired, or substitute) or strong background and previous experience in education. Ability to work at least 2-4 times per week or a minimum of 16 hours per week. Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including daytime, nighttime, and weekends. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information. High-speed internet and a dedicated workspace. Preferred Qualifications Experience teaching or tutoring students with learning disabilities or challenges. Knowledge of cognitive training and academic coaching principles and practices. Experience working with students of diverse ages and ability levels. Strong background in education, including curriculum development and implementation.
