As a Trip Assignment Specialist, you will be part of a dynamic team that values innovation, collaboration, and customer satisfaction. **Responsibilities** As a Trip Assignment Specialist at blithequark, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks that require strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities. Some of your key responsibilities will include: * Assigning trips to dispatchers in the Health-E Rides system, ensuring that approximately 700-900 trips are completed each night * Building dispatchers' daily schedules, taking into account breaks and lunches to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow * Stacking trips to contracted Care Partners, ensuring that members receive the transportation services they need * Answering inbound calls from members during evening hours, providing exceptional customer service and resolving any issues that may arise * Coordinating evening trips as they come in, working closely with dispatchers and Care Partners to ensure timely and safe transportation * Assisting with Care Partner-related administrative tasks, such as payment processing * Assisting with Level 1 administrative tickets in Zendesk, providing timely and effective support to our members and Care Partners **Requirements** To be successful as a Trip Assignment Specialist at blithequark, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills: * Previous experience in dispatching and coordinating transportation, with a strong understanding of transportation logistics and scheduling * Healthcare experience is preferred, but not required * Consistently reliable and able to work evening shifts, Monday through Friday (11:30pm to 8am PT) * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with dispatchers, Care Partners, and members * Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously * Proficiency in Health-E Rides and Zendesk, with the ability to learn new systems and technologies quickly * Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to customer satisfaction and service excellence **Essential Skills and Competencies** To succeed in this role, you will need to possess the following essential skills and competencies: * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups of people * Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously * Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with the ability to learn new systems and technologies quickly * Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to customer satisfaction and service excellence * Strong attention to detail, with the ability to maintain accurate records and reports **Preferred Qualifications** While not required, the following qualifications and skills are preferred: * Experience working in a call center or customer service environment * Familiarity with transportation logistics and scheduling software * Certification in a related field, such as medical transportation or customer service * Bilingual or multilingual skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups of people **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At blithequark, we are committed to providing our employees with opportunities for growth and development.
