Job Overview As a Travel Ultrasound Technologist with Supplemental Health Care, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic hospital setting, utilizing your skills and expertise to provide high-quality patient care. This 13-week contract position offers a competitive salary of $2,052 - $2,152 per week, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including travel pay, housing, and meals allowance. You will be responsible for conducting ultrasound examinations, preparing exam rooms and equipment, and recognizing and recording appropriate anatomy and pathology using sonographic equipment. Key Responsibilities Prepare exam room and ultrasound equipment to conduct examinations Recognize and record appropriate anatomy and pathology using sonographic equipment Write reports based upon the scan results Alert medical staff of any abnormalities Provide exceptional patient care and support to ensure a positive experience Collaborate with healthcare teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in ultrasound technology and techniques Requirements and Qualifications To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you must meet the following requirements: Active certification by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) American Heart Association BLS 2 years of recent relevant experience as an Ultrasound Technologist Strong knowledge of ultrasound principles, techniques, and equipment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment Preferred Qualifications Experience working in a hospital setting Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMRs) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Skills and Competencies To succeed in this role, you must possess the following skills and competencies: Strong technical skills and knowledge of ultrasound equipment and techniques Excellent patient assessment and communication skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At Supplemental Health Care, we are committed to supporting the career growth and development of our healthcare professionals.
