Key Responsibilities


Design and define the security hardening process for Google's products and services, and provide guidance to Contract Manufacturers (North America).
Collaborate with internal and partner engineers and managers to drive test and security enhancements, ensuring the highest level of security and quality.
Work with cross-functional teams to investigate security issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective or preventive actions.
Manage operating system upgrades and provide support for periodic hardening updates, network security, remote access, and system administration of test stations.
Develop and maintain Python test scripts based on test specifications, ensuring efficient and effective testing.
Perform root cause analysis of system test failures and implement corrective or preventive actions to ensure the highest level of quality.


Essential Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must have:


A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Design, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
At least 3 years of experience in software development, hardware troubleshooting, or test engineering.
Experience working with security policy/process, servers, or network equipment.
Proficiency in Python programming development, coding, input/output frameworks (Profiles), and operating systems.


Preferred Qualifications

To stand out as a candidate, you should have:


Experience with operating system deployment and RAM prearranging.
Experience with cloud platform software development.
Experience working in security or software development teams.
Experience in testing products for manufacturing, working with partner or contract manufacturing (ODM, OEM, JDM).
