Job Overview As a Tesla Sales and Software Development Professional, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining applications and systems under the team's scope, including vehicle order processing, stock vehicle purchasing, vehicle delivery experience, Tesla account login, software updates, and features available through mobile application, among others. You will be working with a cross-functional team to improve efficiency, scalability, and have a direct impact on our mission of accelerating the world's transition to sustainable energy. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain applications and systems, including vehicle order processing, stock vehicle purchasing, and vehicle delivery experience Write clean, efficient, performant, and well-tested code to implement new features and fix bugs Write unit tests, integration tests, and work with QA to facilitate timely regression for new features Monitor live system metrics, respond to alerts, and troubleshoot production issues Develop and maintain highly scalable and fault-tolerant data systems that process, store, and serve large volumes of data Build and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes required for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources Ensure data ingested and processed is accurate and of high quality by implementing data quality checks, data validation, and data cleaning processes Analyze and understand existing system technical functionality and propose technical improvements Collaborate with Product, Design, and Business stakeholders to plan and prioritize new feature development Communicate changes in project estimates, conditions, and blockers with impacted stakeholders promptly Own feature development and operations through design, development, testing, deployment, and production Be adaptable and responsive to changing business needs and requirements Report newly implemented technologies and application functionality Learn new technologies, practices, and business concepts to tackle new problems as Tesla grows Essential Qualifications BS/MS in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent industry experience Strong knowledge of REST APIs Experience with microservices, or service-oriented architecture Experience with social and any NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra, Redis, etc.) Experience or knowledge of these systems and frameworks: Kafka, Elastic Search, Grafana, and Kibana Experience in distributed streaming and computing frameworks: Flink, Spark Good unit testing and integration testing practices Experience with message queue architecture Good communication skills with a positive attitude Experience writing code in Java, Python Experience with Docker and Kubernetes Experience working in an Agile/SCRUM Software Development Cycle Preferred Qualifications Experience with cloud-based technologies and platforms Knowledge of machine learning and artificial intelligence concepts Experience with data analytics and visualization tools Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices Experience with DevOps tools and practices Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At Workwarp, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
