Undergraduate teaching : Teaching introductory and advanced courses in economics, developing curriculum materials, and mentoring students in their academic and professional pursuits. Graduate student supervision : Guiding and advising graduate students in their research and academic endeavors, serving on dissertation committees, and contributing to the development of our graduate programs. Professional service : Participating in departmental, college, and university-wide service activities, such as serving on committees, organizing conferences and seminars, and engaging in outreach and community-building initiatives. Essential and Preferred Qualifications To be considered for this position, you must have: A Ph.D. in Economics or a related field by the date of appointment, with a strong record of academic achievement and research potential. Demonstrated interest and potential for conducting high-quality scholarly research , as evidenced by a research statement, publications, and presentations. High level of teaching competence , with experience in teaching undergraduate courses in economics and a commitment to innovative and effective pedagogy. Preferred qualifications include: Experience in teaching graduate courses and supervising graduate students in their research. A strong record of publication in top-tier economics journals and a clear potential for future research productivity. Experience in securing external funding for research projects and a willingness to engage in grant writing and fundraising activities.
