Our goal is to provide our members with affordable, high-quality healthcare options that meet their unique needs. **Job Summary** As a temporary Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for handling daily member telephone calls, providing exceptional customer service, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner. This is a fully remote position, offering the flexibility and convenience of working from home. We're seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team on a temporary basis. **Key Responsibilities** * Handle daily member telephone calls, providing exceptional customer service and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner * Direct members to the proper services needed, educate members on available options, and create linkages to the Medical Management Department for authorization of services * Assist providers with eligibility, benefit, and resolution of claims issues * Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex issues and provide seamless service to members * Maintain accurate records and documentation of member interactions and issue resolutions * Stay up-to-date on company policies, procedures, and product knowledge to provide informed and accurate information to members **Essential Qualifications** * High School Diploma or equivalent certification * One (1) year experience in a customer service related role with direct contact with customers via telephone, email, chat, and/or face-to-face * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with members and internal teams * Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to resolve complex issues in a timely and professional manner * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines * Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications **Preferred Qualifications** * One (1) year experience in a physician healthcare office environment or high-volume call center * One (1) year experience and knowledge of HMO, PPO, TPA, PHO, and Managed Care functions * Certification in customer service or a related field (e.g., Certified Customer Service Representative (CCSR)) * Experience with healthcare software applications and systems **Skills and Competencies** * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Strong problem-solving and analytical skills * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines * Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications * Strong attention to detail and organizational skills * Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information * Strong customer service skills, with a focus on member satisfaction and retention **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At arenaflex, we're committed to helping our employees grow and develop their careers.
