Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and deploy web applications on AWS that meet the needs of TechOps clients
Expand proof-of-concept and MVP projects to validate new architectures and solutions
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze customer requirements and derive software design and performance requirements
Develop high-quality code, participate in code reviews, and ensure adherence to software development standards
Debug existing software, correct defects, and provide recommendations for improving documentation and software development process standards
Implement scalable and fault-tolerant systems on AWS, utilizing services such as EC2, S3, RDS, and CloudFront
Work with the development team to ensure that all applications are optimized for performance and scalability
Troubleshoot and debug web applications and infrastructure issues
Collaborate with other teams to enhance the overall architecture and design of web applications
Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in AWS and web development technologies
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field
Strong experience with web development and web technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and web frameworks such as Ruby on Rails, Node.js, or Django
Experience with AWS services, including EC2, S3, RDS, and CloudFront
Knowledge of containerization and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
Strong understanding of distributed systems, microservices architecture, and cloud-based infrastructure
Understanding of database systems and SQL
Experience with Linux/Unix operating systems
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced and agile environment
Preferred Qualifications

Airline industry experience
Experience working in an airline technology environment
