About the Role We are seeking an experienced Technical Operations Manager to join our team at blithequark. This role is not your typical data entry position; it requires a seasoned professional with a background in leading technical teams and managing IT operations. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of developing and managing high-performing teams across multiple locations, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and technical excellence. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage local and remote technical teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality IT support services to blithequark employees worldwide. Develop and implement strategies to create an exceptional customer experience, leveraging feedback and metrics to drive continuous improvement. Collaborate with the global organization to define and implement best practices for IT support, ensuring consistency and excellence across all regions. Identify opportunities for automation, process improvement, and knowledge base development to reduce recurrent issues and enhance the overall efficiency of the IT support function. Set and maintain high standards for issue handling, escalation, and problem management, guiding the team with clear metrics and goals to measure success. Foster a culture of innovation, encouraging the team to think creatively and develop novel solutions to complex technical challenges. Essential Qualifications 5 years of experience in developing and managing teams of technical professionals across multiple locations. 2 years of experience as an IT Operations Manager or similar role, with a proven track record of leading technology teams. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, or 4 years of professional or military experience. Strong knowledge of Linux or Unix systems administration, with experience in managing and supporting complex IT infrastructures. Preferred Qualifications Experience in managing IT support services for a global organization, with a focus on customer-centricity and technical excellence. Strong understanding of IT service management frameworks, such as ITIL, and experience in implementing best practices for IT support. Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams.
