Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Tech Lead Software Engineer to join our Technology department, where you will play a critical role in driving the success of our IT Service Management (ITSM) Platform, known as Dash. As a champion of continuous improvement, you will lead design efforts, develop new capabilities, consult with customers and leadership, and participate as a developer in our multiple-pod team. This is a remote opportunity that offers flexibility and autonomy, with the possibility of occasional onsite presence or travel for training, meetings, and conferences. Key Responsibilities Lead and motivate a team of developers in planning, delivery, and operation of highly reliable software, ensuring technical quality and collaboration with business stakeholders Provide accurate development estimates, create and maintain application designs, and develop, maintain, and review software with a focus on quality and maintainability Develop, maintain, review, and execute unit, functional, and integration tests, with a focus on automation and test-driven development Provide technical oversight for performance testing, plan and oversee application deployment activities, and investigate new technologies to improve applications and development activities Mentor and coach the development team on relevant architecture, design, development, and operations topics, and evaluate code to ensure validity, structure, and compatibility Essential Qualifications Advanced knowledge of software development methodologies, practices, concepts, and technologies Advanced knowledge of at least one programming language and general knowledge of one or more additional programming languages Knowledge of project management methodology and principles Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive mindset to get ahead of issues Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate a clear direction and priorities to technical, non-technical, and leadership audiences Preferred Qualifications Leadership experience, with a focus on mentoring and coaching intermediate-senior developers Experience with ServiceNow platform development, particularly ITSM and event management products Experience implementing new ServiceNow solutions/products and ServiceNow platform community involvement Experience in integration and authentication options to connect to third-party systems Experience in additional ITOM capabilities, cybersecurity, CI/CD, DevOps, and observability Career Growth and Learning Benefits At workwarp, we are committed to providing our employees with opportunities for growth, learning, and development. Compensation, Perks, and Benefits We offer a competitive compensation package, with a salary range of $155,900 - $173,200 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
