We offer a range of undergraduate and graduate programs, including the Hybrid Accelerated BSN Program, which is designed for individuals who have a bachelor's degree in a non-nursing field and wish to pursue a career in nursing. **Job Summary** We are seeking an experienced teaching faculty member to join our team as a Clinical Faculty for the Hybrid Accelerated BSN Program at our Cleveland site. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching in clinical/lab/simulation courses, and will have expertise in pediatrics and/or medical-surgical areas. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to teaching, a passion for working with students, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. **Key Responsibilities** * Teach in clinical/lab/simulation courses for the Hybrid Accelerated BSN Program * Develop and implement curriculum for clinical/lab/simulation courses * Evaluate student performance and provide feedback * Collaborate with other faculty members to develop and implement program goals and objectives * Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current in the field of nursing education * Engage in service activities for the program, college, and institution **Essential Qualifications** * Current and unencumbered license to practice as a registered nurse in Ohio or be eligible to be licensed and practice in Ohio * MSN degree in nursing from an accredited program * Minimum of three years of experience as a registered nurse * Two years of previous teaching experience in nursing is preferred * Experience using simulation is a plus * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Strong commitment to working as part of a collaborative team **Preferred Qualifications** * Expertise in pediatrics and/or medical-surgical areas * Experience teaching in a hybrid or online environment * Familiarity with simulation-based education * Strong commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion **Skills and Competencies** * Strong teaching and communication skills * Ability to work effectively in a team environment * Strong commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion * Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities * Strong organizational and time management skills **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** Xavier University is committed to providing opportunities for professional growth and development for our faculty members.
