Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Systems Management Analyst to join our team, focusing on Epic solutions and maintaining regular communication with Epic technical support. This role involves identifying system issues, collaborating with other application teams to resolve problems, and providing expertise in software systems programming, operating software applications, and consulting on complex projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of technical documentation and its application to business solutions, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Primary Responsibilities Serve as a liaison between IT Teams (Desktop, Server, Network) and the Epic Team to implement and coordinate technical projects Maintain current Epic certification(s), including completing New Version Training (NVT) and re-certification as required Monitor the ticket queue, ensuring clear understanding of reported issues, collaborating with informatics team members to address tickets, and closing tickets in accordance with defined Service Level Agreement (SLA) guidelines Re-direct operational requests to appropriate team leadership and convey conflicting enhancement requests/project priorities to the Clinical Applications Manager for feedback Attend strategic initiative meetings as needed to provide subject matter expertise and guidance Essential and Preferred Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: Required Qualifications: Epic Certification (EpicCare Ambulatory) 3 years of programming and/or analytical experience with Epic Preferred Qualifications: Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience Epic certification (Order Transmittal, Healthy Planet, Cogito (Reporting Workbench, Dashboards, Slicer/Dicer)) Skills and Competencies The ideal candidate will possess: Strong technical skills, including programming and analytical experience with Epic Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively Experience with software systems programming, operating software applications, and consulting on complex projects Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At Optum, we are committed to helping our employees grow and develop in their careers.
