About the Role We're seeking an experienced System Engineer to play a critical role in our cloud migration journey using Microsoft Intune. As a strategic problem-solver, you'll collaborate with various infrastructure teams and stakeholders to design, develop, and implement functionally suitable and well-integrated systems that meet customer requirements and organizational needs. This remote work role offers the flexibility to work from anywhere in the USA, with occasional travel to our company campus for training, meetings, and conferences. Key Responsibilities Oversee vendor control, partner governance, and oversight of installation systems that are complete, designed, and controlled over existing cycles. Research problems, plan solutions, recommend software and systems, and coordinate developments in an orderly way to meet business requirements. Monitor and test performance and potential for potential bottlenecks, identify possible solutions, and work with partners to implement fixes. Offer and ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability and solve escalations of slight to medium to high complexity. Implement and update the platform strategy and road map. Stay aware of technology trends in the area of responsibility and make suitable recommendations. Maintain and administer computer and information networks and associated computing environments, including computer hardware, systems software, applications software, and all configurations. Meet commitments and deliverables as associated with collaborating/leading projects. Accumulate data bearing on customer needs, and use the data to identify, anticipate, interpret, and analyze system and network requirements. Create and execute testing strategies and use test-driven development concepts to ensure solution integrity and quality. Perform other job responsibilities as directed by employee's Leaders. Essential Qualifications To succeed in this role, you'll need: A Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Systems, or a related field; or equivalent formal education. Intermediate-level experience, with fully functioning broad knowledge in system engineering. Strong knowledge of hardware components, systems, software, and networking technology. Ability to analyze and solve problems of moderate to high complexity. Professional in strong partnering, negotiation, and communication in working with business customers and technology support. Strong knowledge of systems development methodologies, practices, principles, and technologies. Ability to develop, present, and effectively communicate ideas and strategies in both technical and customer-friendly language to a medium-large audience. Ability to design, configure, and test computer hardware, networking software, and operating system software. Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of Microsoft Intune, Azure, SCCM, AD, and/or GPO. Experience with cloud migration and management. Strong project management and analytical/creative problem-solving skills.
