As a System Data Architect in our Operations team, you'll play a pivotal role in designing and implementing our Data Platform, which spans across Chips, Boards, and Data Center domains. Our Operations team is at the forefront of building a robust Data Platform that will drive business decisions and outcomes. As a System Data Architect, you'll be responsible for crafting the architecture of this platform, ensuring it's scalable, efficient, and meets the needs of various stakeholders. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about data architecture, cloud services, and working in a remote full-time capacity. Key Responsibilities Design and Implementation: Develop the Data Platform architecture for Operations, encompassing Chips, Boards, and Data Center domains. This includes evaluating cloud tools and services to inform the architecture. Scalable Data Lake: Design and implement a highly scalable data lake that can handle large volumes of data from diverse sources. Streaming Pipelines: Create streaming pipelines for real-time data storage and analytics, ensuring seamless data flow and processing. Data Processing Frameworks: Design data processing frameworks that can efficiently handle data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes. Self-Service and Machine Learning: Enable a self-service platform for business units and integrate Machine Learning capabilities to drive business insights. CI/CD and AI/ML Ops: Oversee Continuous Integration, Continuous Deployment, and AI/ML Operations to ensure faster time-to-market solutions. Collaboration: Work closely with partners and team members in project planning, resource estimation, delivery management, and project execution. Essential Qualifications To succeed in this role, you should have: A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience with a strong programming background (Python, Java, Database architectures, etc.). At least 10 years of relevant experience in data architecture, with a proven track record of designing, creating, deploying, and leading an organization's data architecture. Experience in building large, geographically dispersed infrastructure supporting business-critical cloud and on-premises services. Operational experience at scale, with a focus on designing and operating highly available, scalable, and fault-tolerant systems. Proficiency in cloud environments such as Azure, AWS, and experience with Spark or Ray environments. Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy. Preferred Qualifications To stand out, you'll ideally have: Experience with SAP systems integration, Datamart, Business Objects, Tableau, and SQL. A strong ability to drive continuous improvement of systems and processes. A self-starter mindset with integrity and accountability, highly motivated and driven. A proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strong organizational skills. Skills and Competencies We're looking for someone with a mix of technical, business, and soft skills, including: Technical expertise in data architecture, cloud services, and data processing frameworks.
