As a Student Loan Advisor, you will be the primary point of contact for our customers, providing accurate and efficient solutions to their inquiries. Key Responsibilities Take incoming calls, use chat, and complete outbound calls as necessary to assist customers with answering frequent questions, providing detailed information, processing applications, and resolving emerging problems. Utilize standard technology such as a telephone, e-mail, and web browser to navigate to pre-scripted responses and provide basic general and claims-specific information. Follow established and documented policies and standard operating procedures, including working within various systems, timekeeping, documentation of calls, and adhering to ethics and privacy rules. Assist callers with filling out their applications and submitting them electronically to plan providers for processing. Complete basic call logs, documentation, and related call details for each phone inquiry. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: A High School diploma or equivalent. The ability to speak and read English clearly, professionally, and fluently. A minimum typing speed of 35 WPM. Experience working with a personal computer and the Windows operating system. Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills. The ability to multi-task and stay organized while completing simultaneous tasks. Strong computer skills with proficiencies in Excel and Word. Excellent command of the English language, effective use of grammar skills, and excellent communication etiquette. Preferred Skills While not required, the following skills are highly valued: Experience working in a contact center environment. Knowledge of contact center technology.
