Key Responsibilities
Teach students in a supportive and engaging environment, fostering their musical growth and development
Prepare comprehensive lesson plans, tailored to meet the needs of students with varying skill levels and learning styles
Recruit students for the String Project, promoting the program and its benefits to potential participants
Collaborate with teachers and Master Teachers in planning sessions, sharing best practices and expertise to enhance the overall quality of the program

Qualifications and Requirements
To be considered for this exciting opportunity, applicants must meet the following essential qualifications:
Be a current or incoming WSU student as of fall semester, 2019, pursuing a degree in Stringed Instrument Music Education
Have no prior experience necessary, although private teaching experience is highly desirable
Demonstrate performance ability on an orchestral string instrument at a level sufficient to have been accepted into the degree program
Preferred qualifications include:
Background in music education or a related field
