Key Responsibilities
Ensure compliance with Strategic Sourcing policies and standard processes, and continually assess market conditions to develop procurement strategies that improve value to the company.
Prepare Request for Proposals (RFPs) as needed, conduct pre-bid meetings and job walks, and lead structured supplier negotiations and Supplier Relationship Management reviews.
Use price and cost analysis to analyze proposals, and prepare service agreements as needed. Review contract issues with the legal department and monitor projects to confirm contract compliance.
Assist in the resolution of payment problems, contract disputes, or claims, and cultivate women, veteran-owned business opportunities, and apply capabilities to operational requirements.
Maintain all records, documents, correspondence, and materials related to any sourcing activity in an understandable format, and report the status of project initiatives in a concise and timely manner to management.
Analyze market trends and conditions that affect suppliers, cost of goods, pricing, and the resulting impact on clients, and research and implement standard processes for procurement, including supporting technologies related to sourcing commodities.
Participate in professional development activities to stay ahead of current industry best practices, and demonstrate outstanding integrity and ethics in all instances.
Essential Qualifications and Skills
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
5+ years of sourcing and procurement experience, with at least one year of experience in services sourcing, preferably in pyrotechnics and/or entertainment.
Proven strong analytical skills with a data analysis background, and proficiency in MS-Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
A Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Construction, Finance, or equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications
While not essential, the following qualifications are preferred:
Financial analysis experience, and working knowledge of Coupa and SAP.
High-level Excel skills, and experience in contract management and supplier relationship management.
