About the Role: Stockroom Leader We are seeking a talented and experienced Stockroom Leader to join our growing team in Bangor, Maine. As a Stockroom Leader, you will assist your supervisor in managing and directing all aspects of the stockroom, ensuring smooth operations, and guaranteeing a high level of customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: Lead the receiving department and ensure that capabilities are utilized accurately Delegate and assign work to maintain a 100% fill rate Assist with managing inventory and lead necessary training within the department Ensure the proper use and accountability of tools Ensure hours and capabilities are recorded accurately (e.g., Time clocks) Be responsible for responding to email and verbal inquiries promptly Maintain product movement and manage the cleanliness of the department, including daily trash compacting Perform additional duties as assigned Requirements and Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: A working understanding of WMS (Warehouse Management System) Leadership and motivational skills, with the ability to make decisions with minimal direction based on policies or common sense This is a physical position that will involve lifting, handling products, and operating power equipment Ability to lift up to 75 pounds unassisted and move product 150+ pounds unassisted or via team lift Experience in more than one department, including receiving, inventory control, pick, pack, ship, and return of product Experience with creating and responding to emails Power equipment insight - should be able to operate or be trained on Powered Industrial Truck Operations (PIT) Experience with creating and updating systems, such as trouble tickets Excellent attendance and punctuality record Understanding of High Jump is a plus Able to read and comprehend English to ensure your safety and the safety of those working around you What We Offer: At Wayfair, we offer a competitive salary of $25/hour, as well as a range of benefits and perks, including: Opportunities for career growth and professional development A dynamic and supportive work environment Comprehensive training programs to help you succeed in your role Access to cutting-edge technology and tools A culture that values diversity, equity, and inclusion Recognition and reward programs to acknowledge your contributions Career Growth and Development At Wayfair, we are committed to helping our employees grow and develop in their careers.
