Work Summary As an Experienced Station Agent, you will work in a fast-paced environment, performing a combination of customer service and operations support tasks. Your primary responsibilities will include: * Assisting passengers with their travel needs, such as checking in, printing boarding passes, and resolving any issues that may arise. * Managing the flow of passengers through the airport, ensuring that flights depart on schedule and that passengers are processed efficiently.* Coordinating with other airport staff to ensure that flights are loaded and unloaded safely and efficiently. * Maintaining accurate records and reports, including passenger manifests, flight schedules, and other relevant data. * Providing exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries, and resolving any issues that may arise. Key Responsibilities * Assist passengers with their travel needs, including checking in, printing boarding passes, and resolving any issues that may arise. * Manage the flow of passengers through the airport, ensuring that flights depart on schedule and that passengers are processed efficiently.* Coordinate with other airport staff to ensure that flights are loaded and unloaded safely and efficiently. * Maintain accurate records and reports, including passenger manifests, flight schedules, and other relevant data. * Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries, and resolving any issues that may arise. * Load and unload cargo and baggage from aircraft, using manual or mechanical equipment as required. * Transport staff and cargo to and from airport locations, using company vehicles or other authorized transportation.* Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and organization of airport facilities, including the terminal, baggage handling areas, and other related spaces. * Participate in airport safety and security initiatives, including emergency response planning and training. * Collaborate with other airport staff to ensure that flights are operated safely and efficiently. Essential Qualifications * At least 2 years of experience in customer service, airport operations, or a related field. * Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.* Ability to lift 75 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, colleagues, and other stakeholders. * Ability to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. * High school diploma or equivalent required; some college or vocational training preferred. Preferred Qualifications * Experience working in an airport or airline environment. * Knowledge of airport operations, including baggage handling, cargo management, and flight scheduling.* Familiarity with airline reservation systems and other relevant software. * Ability to learn and work with automated systems, including ticketing and baggage handling equipment. * Experience with customer service software and other related technologies.
