About the Role We're seeking a highly skilled Staff Information Researcher to lead Information Science projects and drive exceptional business results. As a key member of our team, you'll work closely with stakeholders to develop "smart" features and deliver impactful insights using AI, Deep Learning, NLP, and CV. Our Information Adventures team is building a state-of-the-art suite of Information Items to provide actionable, customer-driven insights and help vendors and suppliers make informed business decisions on Omni-channel 360 execution. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with stakeholders to identify ML/Deep Learning opportunities for solutions and develop project requirements. Design and build solutions that can be seamlessly integrated into external frameworks or existing applications. Select and apply suitable ML modeling techniques for complex problems with large-scale data. Develop and iterate on features collaboratively with colleagues, leading model development and guiding team members through building, testing, and deploying ML models at scale. Establish best practices for model deployment, monitoring, and interpretability, ensuring production-ready ML solutions with low latency inference times and risk evaluation. Essential Qualifications Proficiency in Statistics, AI, Machine Learning, NLP, and Computer Vision (optional). Proven industry experience in tackling Retail and Customer Science problems. Skilled in Python/R, PyTorch, TensorFlow, SQL, Big Data, and cloud technologies. Experience leading and coaching data science teams, with effective technical communication to non-technical stakeholders. Knowledge of Deployment and Scaling best practices. Preferred Qualifications Data Science, Machine Learning, optimization models, PhD in AI, Computer Science, Data Technology, Operations Research, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Econometrics. Successful completion of at least one certification in Python, Flash, Scala, or R. Utilizing open-source frameworks (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, Light).
