Job Summary: Key Responsibilities and Expectations As a Specialty Pharmacist - Mail Order Services, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the accurate delivery of pharmaceutical care services to our patients. Your key responsibilities will include: Providing exceptional customer service to patients and healthcare professionals, addressing their concerns and queries in a timely and professional manner. Leading and guiding supporting staff to ensure seamless operations and high-quality patient care. Monitoring drug therapy, providing patient education, and managing chronic disease states as part of our clinical programs. Collaborating with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes and improve the overall quality of care. Staying up-to-date with the latest developments in specialty pharmacy, including new therapies, technologies, and industry trends. Utilizing your expertise to drive clinical programs, improve patient outcomes, and enhance the overall patient experience. Essential Qualifications: Education, Experience, and Skills To be successful in this role, you'll need to meet the following essential qualifications: A current Pharmacist License in good standing in the State of Kansas. A minimum of six months of pharmacy experience, preferably in a specialty pharmacy or related setting. Proficiency in Windows-based applications, including Microsoft Office, internet navigation, and email applications. A Bachelor's or PharmD degree in Pharmacy from an accredited institution. Preferred Qualifications: Additional Experience and Skills While not mandatory, the following qualifications are highly desirable: Licenses in other states, in addition to Kansas. Healthcare work experience, particularly in a specialty pharmacy or related setting. Familiarity with benefits, insurance, and prescriptions.
