About the Role We are seeking an experienced Special Education Substitute Teacher to join our team in Denver, CO. Key Responsibilities Follow and teach lesson plans provided by the regular teacher Instruct based on subject and grade-specific curriculum Monitor and assess student achievements and outcomes Exercise classroom and behavior management skills Share your specialized knowledge to coach staff and support special education students Essential Qualifications Active Teaching license with a special education generalist (5-21) and/or special education specialist (5-21) endorsement(s) Substitute Authorization (must have or be in the process of obtaining if license is expired) Three References with one by a previous direct supervisor Complete a Background Check for Scoot Education (you'll be reimbursed for the cost on your first paycheck!)
