Job Summary We're seeking an experienced Spanish Teacher to join our team at Southeast Middle Digital Arts Technology Academy Magnet Program. As a Spanish Teacher, you'll be responsible for designing and delivering high-quality instruction to students in grades 6-8, with a focus on developing their language skills, cultural awareness, and critical thinking abilities. Key Responsibilities Designing Instruction : Develop lesson plans and deliver group and individual student instruction within established curriculum guidelines, with a focus on engaging students and promoting academic achievement. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess the following essential qualifications: Bachelor's Degree : A bachelor's degree from an accredited institution is required. Current Louisiana Teacher Certification : You must hold a current teaching certification from the state of Louisiana. Language Proficiency : Proficiency in Spanish is essential, with a strong understanding of language instruction and cultural competence. Technological Abilities : You should be proficient in the use of technology, including email, educational software, and other digital tools. Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are highly preferred: Experience Teaching Spanish : Previous experience teaching Spanish to middle school students is highly desirable.
