Experienced SolidWorks Designer Engineer Needed
We are seeking a highly skilled SolidWorks designer engineer to work in-person in our studio in New Orleans. We are NOT looking for remote candidates. We are seeking a SolidWorks expert to assist with our motorcycle project. The successful candidate will prepare our near complete model for construction of a non-running “concept vehicle”. Minor modification of existing parts and tolerances will be needed, but the overall concept is finished. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in 3D modeling, assembly design, and product visualization. A familiarity with Hole Wizard and Motion Studies is required. You will be responsible for creating detailed CAD drawings and ensuring designs meet industry standards. You will be required to generate dimensioned and labeled prints, and communicate with machine shops. The ideal candidate should have an interest in motorcycles and a comprehension of mechanical systems. If you have a strong portfolio showcasing your SolidWorks skills and can work collaboratively and remotely, we want to hear from you! We are based in New Orleans, Louisiana USA. You must be able to work IN PERSON in our studio one-to-one with the sole designer on the project. We can be flexible on hours. The initial contract is for approximately thirty hours to prepare drawings for production of specific suspension components for the concept vehicle.
