Key Responsibilities Lead the Android and Apple teams, providing guidance, coaching, and performance feedback to direct reports. Oversee project delivery, ensuring timely and high-quality execution across multiple platforms. Foster a culture of technical excellence, driving the adoption of best practices and maintaining high code quality standards. Collaborate closely with technical leads and engineering teams to drive project execution and resolve technical challenges. Develop and implement technical strategies, aligning with Philo's overall goals and objectives. Communicate effectively across teams and disciplines, ensuring seamless collaboration and alignment. Essential Qualifications To succeed in this role, you'll need: 8+ years of software development experience across mobile and TV platforms, with a deep understanding of native app development principles on Android and/or Apple. 3+ years of software engineering management experience, overseeing multi-platform teams and driving technical excellence. Strong people management skills, with experience providing coaching, performance feedback, and career development guidance to direct reports. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and disciplines to achieve common goals. A proven track record of shipping code at scale and driving technical innovation. Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications will make you an even more competitive candidate: Experience working on TV streaming services or similar industries. Knowledge of cloud-based technologies and microservices architecture. Familiarity with agile development methodologies and DevOps practices.
