The Role: Shopify Website Specialist As a Shopify Website Specialist, you'll play a critical role in ensuring our online presence is optimized for success. You'll work closely with our marketing, design, and client success teams to drive project goals and deliver exceptional user experiences. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with a few years of experience in Shopify development and optimization, looking for a flexible, part-time or freelance arrangement. Key Responsibilities Site Optimization : Ensure our Shopify site runs smoothly, loads quickly, and provides an exceptional user experience for our customers. SEO Expertise : Implement effective search engine optimization (SEO) strategies to drive organic traffic and improve search rankings. Design & Usability Enhancements : Maintain a clean, visually appealing, and easy-to-navigate layout that aligns with our brand image. Collaborate with our design team to keep the site's look fresh and engaging. Marketing & Social Media Support : Contribute to ideas for our social media and ad campaigns, including basic ad management to drive traffic to our site. Communication & Collaboration : Regularly connect with our teams via Zoom or phone to coordinate and execute project goals effectively. Qualifications and Skills To succeed in this role, you'll need: Experience : 2+ years in a similar role working with Shopify, including hands-on experience with SEO, site optimization, and basic ad management. Technical Skills : Proficiency in Shopify customization and plug-ins, comfort with SEO best practices, and knowledge of optimizing site speed and performance. Strong Communication : Ability to communicate clearly and efficiently over phone and video calls in a collaborative setting. Detail-Oriented : Capability to make incremental improvements and track ongoing optimizations to ensure a consistently high-quality user experience.
