As a vital member of our Operations and Sales Center Team, we're seeking an experienced Shift Manager to lead our Warehouse, Equipment Service, and Fleet departments to new heights. About the Role The Shift Manager plays a critical role in ensuring the day-to-day running of our Sales Center's Warehouse, Equipment Service, and Fleet departments. As a key member of our Operations and Sales Center Team, you'll be responsible for making critical personnel decisions, managing inventory, and providing statistical analysis for continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Perform necessary tasks and duties assigned by the supervisor, ensuring seamless operations and meeting company standards. Generate daily, weekly, monthly, and annual reports to keep the management team informed and up-to-date. Rotate items on shelves, prioritizing those with shorter shelf lives or expiration dates to minimize waste and maximize efficiency. Analyze statistical information and reports to identify opportunities for perpetual refinement and implement cost-saving measures. Collaborate with department leaders to develop and implement strategies that drive efficiency, reduce waste, and promote a culture of continuous improvement. Direct the product rotation process within the facility to maintain a constant flow and ensure that products are delivered to customers on time. Configure the warehouse to increase operational efficiency, streamline processes, and improve overall productivity. Manage the transportation of goods through incoming and outgoing trucking activities, ensuring timely delivery and minimizing delays. Provide training and clear guidance to ensure that forklift operators and warehouse staff have the necessary knowledge and skills to complete their duties safely and efficiently. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment, adhering to company standards and regulatory requirements. Essential Qualifications To succeed in this role, you'll need: A managerial background of at least two to three years, with a proven track record of leadership and team management. A Bachelor's Degree, preferably in a relevant field, although equivalent experience will be considered. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with colleagues, customers, and stakeholders. A valid driver's license and a motor vehicle driving record that meets CCBCHC's criteria. Adaptability, business perception, and the ability to make informed decisions while following company guidelines. Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others to achieve their full potential. Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications will be considered a plus: Experience in a manufacturing or warehousing environment. Knowledge of inventory management principles and practices. Familiarity with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
