Job Description

As a Service Desk Technician - T1, you'll be the first point of contact for our clients, providing technical support and resolving their IT issues in a timely and professional manner. You'll work closely with our team to deliver exceptional customer service, troubleshoot technical problems, and ensure the smooth operation of our clients' IT systems.

Key Responsibilities:


Answer inbound support calls and monitor online ticket queues
Create service tickets and perform common technical administrative tasks, such as password resets
Troubleshoot and resolve basic computer, network, and printing problems
Document and enter time records for all support activities
Perform new computer builds and setups, as well as basic software installations
Continuously learn and grow your skills by assisting senior technicians, studying, and staying up-to-date with the latest technologies


Qualifications and Skills

To succeed in this role, you'll need:


A high school diploma or equivalent (additional education in a technology field is a plus)
Prior customer service experience and a strong understanding of IT products
Proficiency in general office applications, such as ConnectWise (experience with ConnectWise is preferred)
The ability to multitask, adapt to changes quickly, and remain flexible in a fast-paced environment
Excellent interpersonal skills, including telephony skills, communication skills, active listening, and customer-care


Preferred Qualifications:


Lab or real-world experience in IT support or a related field
A strong foundation in hardware, software, network, and security fundamentals
A willingness to learn and master new technologies within 3 years
