Key Responsibilities Develop and implement comprehensive transportation and logistics strategies that align with blithequark's business objectives and goals Lead and manage a team of distribution center managers, ensuring that all transportation and logistics operations are executed efficiently and effectively Build and maintain strong relationships with 3PL providers, suppliers, and customers to drive business growth and improve service quality Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, supply chain, transportation, sales, and finance, to optimize business processes and achieve shared goals Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and performance metrics to ensure operational excellence and financial sustainability Identify and mitigate risks, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, company policies, and industry standards Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging innovation, and driving change initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction Essential Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field Minimum 10 years of experience in transportation, logistics, and supply chain management, with a proven track record of success Strong knowledge of 3PL management, transportation management systems, and logistics operations Excellent leadership and management skills, with experience in managing high-performing teams Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to drive data-driven decisions Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders Proficiency in English, with bilingual skills (English/Spanish) preferred Preferred Qualifications Master's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field Professional certifications in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field Experience in managing global logistics operations, with a strong understanding of international trade regulations and practices Knowledge of lean principles, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies Experience in managing budgets, forecasts, and performance metrics, with a strong understanding of financial management principles Career Growth and Development At blithequark, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
