Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience. At least 3 years of experience in software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript). Proven experience in leading teams of software engineers, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality software solutions on time. Excellent technical skills, with the ability to design, develop, and implement complex software systems. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications are highly desirable: A graduate degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field. At least 3 years of experience working in a complex, matrixed organization, with a strong understanding of software development methodologies and practices. Experience with cloud-based technologies, including Google Cloud Platform, Amazon Web Services, or Microsoft Azure. Knowledge of agile development methodologies, including Scrum or Kanban. Experience with DevOps practices, including continuous integration, continuous delivery, and continuous monitoring.
