This team supports all applications related to recruiting, hiring, and onboarding new employees. What You'll Do

As a Senior Software Engineer at arenaflex, you'll play a critical role in designing, developing, and deploying solutions that power our recruitment and onboarding platforms. Your technical expertise and leadership will be instrumental in driving our mission to create best-in-class hiring experiences.


Serve as the Senior Engineer for our Recruit, Hire, and Onboard suite of products, delivering high-quality software solutions that meet business objectives
Collaborate with leaders, business experts, project managers, IT architects, technical leads, and other developers, along with internal clients, to understand requirements and develop a strategy tailored to business needs for quarterly planning
Create detailed product estimates and technical specifications that guide project execution
Drive consensus on technical approach, set schedules, and lead practical application groups from design through delivery
Maintain and improve existing enterprise services, applications, and platforms using domain-driven design and test-driven development methodologies
Investigate and troubleshoot complex issues; identify and implement effective solutions
Research and implement new technologies to enhance current processes, security, and performance
Support the development of coding standards and adhere to best practices and security guidelines
Work closely with software architects and technical leads to ensure decisions meet long-term enterprise growth needs
Actively participate in code development, contributing to the continuous improvement of our technology stack


All You'll Need for Success

Minimum Qualifications


Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Technology, Information Systems (CIS/MIS), Engineering, or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience/training
Experience: Hands-on experience delivering SDLC solutions using ITIL/Agile/XP, or similar methodologies
Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in software development practices, including object-oriented design, data structures, and algorithm optimization
Collaboration: Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams
Problem-Solving: Demonstrated ability to analyze complex problems and develop innovative solutions


Preferred Qualifications


Education: Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Technology, Information Systems (CIS/MIS), Engineering, or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience/training
Experience: 3+ years of experience providing technical leadership in software development teams
Cloud Expertise: Experience with Cloud Technologies and migrating applications to the cloud
Domain Knowledge: Familiarity with HR technology systems, particularly recruitment and onboarding platforms
Modern Development: Experience with microservices architecture, containerization, and DevOps practices
