Key Responsibilities Design and Development: Build key features of our Advertising platform using a microservices architecture, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance. User Interfaces: Implement intuitive user interfaces that enable advertisers to visualize and analyze the performance of their campaigns effectively. Data Systems: Develop data systems that can ingest, model, and analyze vast amounts of data from online and offline user activities, providing actionable insights and analytics. Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve business and production issues promptly, collaborating with support teams and stakeholders as needed. Software Development: Develop software using object-oriented languages like Scala and Java, with a focus on advertising measurement systems that leverage machine learning and statistical techniques. Essential Qualifications To succeed in this role, you'll need: Technical Expertise: Experience in implementing user interfaces with ReactJS and programming in object-oriented languages such as Java or Scala. Microservices Architecture: A background in developing large-scale systems using microservices architecture and experience with frameworks like Spring Boot or Play. Containerization and Orchestration: Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes. Data Processing: Experience in creating and maintaining data processing workflows with tools like Airflow or Oozie, and developing software for ETL operations on large datasets. AdTech Experience: Demonstrated knowledge of the AdTech business and experience working in the industry. Preferred Qualifications While not mandatory, the following qualifications can give you a competitive edge: Advanced Degree: A Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, coupled with relevant experience. Compensation The annual salary range for this position varies by location: Hoboken, New Jersey: $108,000 - $216,000 Sunnyvale, California: $117,000 - $234,000 In addition to your base salary, you may be eligible for annual or quarterly performance bonuses and other benefits like stock options.
