About the Role: Senior Researcher, Product Experience (Growth) We are seeking an experienced Senior Researcher to join our Product Experience team, focusing on driving growth and innovation in the streaming industry. As a Senior Researcher, you will play a critical role in uncovering compelling ways to engage and delight our global members. Your primary responsibility will be to lead innovative research that informs business decisions across the organization, with a focus on how Netflix can deliver better value to more members through new ad-supported offerings. Key Responsibilities: Identify, prioritize, and lead research initiatives that generate insights to inform monetization strategies across the organization. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product, Ads, Product Marketing, Design, Data Science, Strategy Planning, and Brand, to proactively develop research drives. Define, design, execute, and socialize a range of research studies that build a deep understanding of existing and future audiences and their experiences worldwide. Identify best practices in existing and emerging research methodologies. About You: To be successful in this role, you should have: Proven experience in product research and/or user experience (UX) research, informing growth and monetization strategy. Experience supporting subscription services or ad-supported online products is a plus. Mixed-methods research expertise, with hands-on experience driving end-to-end quantitative and qualitative research studies. A balance of creative and analytical skills, with the ability to proactively define research questions, identify appropriate methodologies, execute studies, and integrate findings. Strong communication skills, with a tendency towards action to proactively collaborate with multiple teams across the organization. A passion for translating findings into meaningful strategic business recommendations. Global research experience is highly preferred but not required. Essential Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required. Additionally, you should have: A strong understanding of research methodologies and statistical analysis. Excellent communication and project management skills. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks effectively. Preferred Qualifications: While not required, the following qualifications are preferred: Advanced degree in a relevant field, such as psychology, sociology, or computer science. Experience with data analysis and visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI. Knowledge of programming languages, such as Python or R. Skills and Competencies: To succeed in this role, you should possess the following skills and competencies: Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to collect and analyze large data sets. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate research findings to both technical and non-technical audiences. Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and manage competing deadlines. Collaboration and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
