Key Responsibilities As a Senior Project Manager, your key responsibilities will include: Developing and managing scopes, budgets, and schedules for assigned projects or programs Directing, supervising, and controlling the construction, fixture installation, and architecture and engineering design milestones Reviewing and analyzing contractor bids, making recommendations, and approving subcontractor bids Conducting contract negotiations, reviewing and approving changes to the contract, and applications for payments Closing out all necessary contracts and maintaining accurate budget forecasts throughout the project lifecycle Conducting cross-functional meetings to monitor activities and budgets of other departments that affect the project Ensuring successful project execution while maintaining quality standards Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: A four-year degree or equivalent experience in construction project management 7+ years of experience in construction project management, with advanced knowledge of construction processes, industry standards, and best practices Ability to read and interpret construction documents and specifications A degree in Engineering or Architecture is preferred Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to work effectively with both internal and external partners Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are preferred: Experience working on large-scale retail construction projects Knowledge of industry-specific software and technology Certifications in construction project management, such as PMP or CCM Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple stakeholders Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and competencies: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and outside the box Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and direct teams Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities and deadlines Strong attention to detail, with a focus on quality and accuracy Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At Workwarp, we are committed to the growth and development of our team members.
