Job Responsibilities Teaching and tutoring students in-center, online, and/or via hybrid delivery, utilizing the Mathnasium Method and our proprietary teaching practices. Collaborating with your team to deliver individualized instruction in a group setting, ensuring each student receives the support they need. Assessing students' learning progress and engagement throughout instructional sessions, adjusting your approach as necessary to optimize outcomes. Becoming proficient with our digital educational materials and processes, staying up-to-date with the latest tools and technologies. Supporting the maintenance of a safe, professional, and welcoming learning environment that encourages students to thrive. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: A genuine passion for mathematics and a desire to share this passion with students. Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex concepts in a clear, concise manner. Eagerness to learn and be trained on our methodologies and materials. Ability to balance multiple tasks and responsibilities, prioritizing your workload to meet the needs of your students. A strong foundation in mathematics, with the ability to teach effectively through at least Pre-calculus (Calculus I preferred). A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as Education, Mathematics, or a math-heavy degree. 3+ years of experience working in a tutoring or teaching role, with a proven track record of success. Experience mentoring or training junior team members, with the ability to lead and support your colleagues. Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable: Advanced degrees in Mathematics, Education, or a related field. Specialized training or certifications in math education or a related area. Experience working with students of diverse backgrounds and skill levels. Familiarity with digital educational platforms and tools.
