Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager of Engineering and Operations Excellence to join our team at arenaflex. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing global frameworks, systems, and processes to reduce operational costs, increase revenue and profitability, and improve service and solutions for our internal and external clients. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and implement global frameworks, systems, and processes to reduce operational costs, increase revenue and profitability, and improve service and solutions for our internal and external clients. Provide leadership and guidance in advancing the human support service strategy, as well as empowering the growth and development of colleagues. Support the continued expansion of global QDM to ensure ongoing improvement drives and support activities in enhancing their service levels, profitability, and compliance. Establish preventive measures to ensure compliance and system capability as planned, and that business continuity plans are established and effective. Ensure that client responsibilities are quantifiably measured and reported; and, that continuous improvement tools are used to target areas where client retention is at risk. Lead and manage a team of professionals to achieve exceptional results and make a meaningful impact in the logistics industry. Develop and implement strategies to drive client acquisition and retention within the market. Work with global partners to drive cross-border collaboration and process standardization. Perform, review, investigate, plan, execute, and circle back on all other responsibilities and drives as allocated. Requirements and Capabilities To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and capabilities: Four-year degree or equivalent in a related field; master's degree preferred. Six Sigma, Lean, or other ASQ continuous improvement certifications, such as FedEx QDM Master, are highly desirable. Proven expertise in driving execution, management, and coordination of Cargowise into the global shipping frameworks landscape and plan, development, and execution of digital capabilities and solutions is required. Literate, PMP, or similar accreditation is highly desirable. Exhibited change management and project management experience driving functional excellence continuous improvement drives for cross-functional projects. Significant related experience in overseeing and driving high-performing teams, improving processes, and changing business activities. Strong industry knowledge, demonstrated effective management experience, human relations, and interpersonal skills are required.
