About the Job blithequark is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Information Security Engineer to join its team as a Lead Information Tasks Examiner. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading production support activities for a group of data analysis products used to support internal bank operations. Key Responsibilities Lead production support activities for a group of data analysis products used to support internal bank operations Act as a key member in the identification and triage of production incidents affecting the client data analysis platform Analyze complex technical tasks challenges within a big data environment, requiring in-depth assessment and problem-solving skills Lead research and create reports related to ongoing production challenges, presenting findings to internal stakeholders Lead the development of new project processes and platform enhancements, driving continuous improvement and innovation Act as a liaison with the onshore team, ensuring communication and reporting of delivery from the offshore team Champion continuous improvement, including developing new strategies and identifying new opportunities Contribute to the establishment of performance standards for the team, ensuring operations achieve or exceed performance metrics Direct the daily Risk and Control stream of operations, focusing on solutions, methodology, and work guidelines to ensure a successful outcome Lead teams to meet deadlines and drive new initiatives, collaborating with stakeholders to achieve technology mandates Review, approve, and implement recommended changes to plans, ensuring alignment with business objectives Mentor peers, providing guidance and support to ensure the success of the team Essential Qualifications To be considered for this role, you will need to have: A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Computer Science, Information Technology, or Engineering 2+ years of investigation experience, or equivalent demonstrated through a combination of work experience, training, military experience, or education Strong technical skills, including experience with big data environments, ETL, data warehousing, and data analysis capabilities Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical tasks challenges Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal stakeholders and team members Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications are highly desirable: 2+ years of experience supporting large data environments, including experience with Hadoop, Kafka, and MongoDB 2+ years of experience delivering ETL, data warehousing, and data analysis capabilities on large data engineering platforms Experience using a combination of tools, including HIVE, Panda, Autosys, Grafana, and Splunk Past experience supporting Kafka and MongoDB, with a strong understanding of data architecture and engineering principles Skills and Competencies To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and competencies: Strong technical skills, including experience with big data environments, ETL, data warehousing, and data analysis capabilities Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical tasks challenges Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal stakeholders and team members Ability to lead and mentor teams, providing guidance and support to ensure the success of the team Strong business acumen, with the ability to understand business objectives and drive technology solutions to achieve them Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At blithequark, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
