Job Summary In this exciting role, you will be part of the Interest Estimating group at arenaflex, where you will be responsible for developing and implementing quantitative models and algorithms to optimize demand forecasting and pricing strategies for our retail business. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement quantitative models and algorithms to optimize demand forecasting and pricing strategies for our retail business Perform data analysis and interpretation, including data visualization, statistical modeling, and machine learning techniques Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, data engineers, and other data scientists to drive business growth and improvement Design, develop, and deploy scalable and efficient algorithms and models using programming languages such as Python, R, Java, or Scala Work with large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can inform business decisions Develop and maintain a well-organized and well-documented codebase, following best practices in software development and data science Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in data science and machine learning, and apply this knowledge to drive innovation and improvement in our business operations Essential Qualifications 3-year degree in Quantitative disciplines (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) or equivalent work experience 3 or more years of experience building Time Series Forecasting models, Pricing models, ML models, or optimization algorithms Strong quantitative skills, including experience with Statistical Inference, Generalized Linear Models, Markov Decision Processes Proficient in at least one of Python, R, Java, or similar programming language Deep understanding of data structures and algorithm design Ability to test and measure algorithms Excellent written and verbal communication skills Self-motivated and results-oriented, with the ability to meet tight deadlines Collaborative team player with the ability to partner effectively across time zones Preferred Qualifications Experience working with large datasets and distributed computing systems Knowledge of cloud-based technologies, such as AWS or Azure Experience with agile development methodologies and version control systems, such as Git Strong understanding of data visualization and communication principles Experience working with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, data engineers, and other data scientists Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At arenaflex, we are committed to providing our employees with opportunities for growth and development.
