About the Role We're seeking an experienced Senior General Ledger Accountant to join our dynamic accounting team. As a Senior GL Accountant, you will play a critical role in driving process improvements, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives. This is a 100% remote position, offering you the flexibility to work from anywhere and contribute to our growing organization. Key Responsibilities Prepare journal entries and monthly account reconciliations for assigned areas of the general ledger Be a key owner of the monthly close process for assigned regions and entities, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting Maintain financial records in accordance with US GAAP and internal controls, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements Assist with providing audit support to external auditors during annual audits and quarterly reviews Communicate with Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A), operational stakeholders, and external parties on significant accounting matters Participate in ad-hoc investigations and projects to drive process improvements and enhance our accounting operations Requirements and Qualifications To succeed in this role, you should have: A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field, with a CPA certification being a plus At least 2+ years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a similar industry or role Strong knowledge of US GAAP, PCAOB standards, and SOX/internal controls Experience with accounting software such as NetSuite, Coupa, or GSuite is preferred Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively Strong attention to detail, with a high degree of accuracy and precision in your work Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities, with a strong focus on meeting deadlines and delivering results What We Offer At blithequark, we're committed to supporting the growth and well-being of our employees.
