Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Senior Game Tools & Pipeline Engineer who is genuinely passionate about empowering others to achieve their best work. What You'll Do
As a key member of our tools and infrastructure team, you will play a multifaceted role that combines technical expertise with collaborative problem-solving. Your daily responsibilities will include:
Proactively identifying inefficiencies and elaborate areas in our development technique across all disciplines, from initial concept to final release
Maintaining, extending, and supporting our existing development tools and pipeline infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and reliability
Building and guiding custom asset pipelines that automate workflows, reduce manual errors, and accelerate content production
Developing arenaflex's proprietary libraries, tools, and technologies across multiple game engines and frameworks
Collaborating with cross-functional teams including Art, Design, and Engineering to understand workflow challenges and develop tailored solutions
Generating candidate solutions for identified problems, weighing tradeoffs given project context and development timelines
Implementing selected solutions with careful attention to code quality, documentation, and long-term maintainability
Supporting adoption of new tools and workflows by providing training, documentation, and ongoing support to team members
Assisting in developing and maintaining arenaflex's current set of engine-specific and custom tools that we use every day
Evaluating effectiveness of implemented solutions and iterating based on user feedback and evolving project needs

Essential Qualifications
