Key Responsibilities Develop complex financial models to support business decision-making related to new product development, product portfolio assessment, profitability of new opportunities, capital investments, revenue models, and margin analysis. Analyze and summarize financial statements, expenses, and records to provide insights and recommendations to management. Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements and reports to provide forecasts of business, market, and economic conditions. Perform financial analysis and modeling to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement. Assist in the development of long-range financial plans and continuously analyze actual financial results. Work closely with various departments within Walgreens to ensure strategic objectives are achieved. May assist in the development of the annual budget and analyze actual and budgeted figures on an ongoing basis. Create and maintain focused budgeting templates. Review monthly financial results for assigned business units, identifying key trends, variances, and areas for improvement. Provide data and support to management regarding expenditures, purchases, and specific costs of doing business. Answer complex request for proposal (RFP) questions related to new business and customer renewals. Essential Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Quantitative Analysis, or Economics. At least 1 year of experience in an analytical role in finance, accounting, business administration, quantitative analysis, or economics. Experience with financial analysis, financial modeling, profitability analysis, and/or auditing techniques. Intermediate-level skills in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel. Willing to travel up to 10% of the time for business purposes. Preferred Qualifications Master's Degree or MBA. Experience with statistical analysis software (SAS).
