Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Data Science Analyst to join our Hunt and Suggestions Examination team in Boston. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for analyzing large datasets to inform our product recommendation strategy. You will work closely with a high-performing team of experts, including AI engineers, data scientists, and product managers, to develop and implement data-driven solutions that drive business results.

Key Responsibilities

Design, run, and analyze the results of A/B tests of new recommendation algorithms and systems to identify areas of improvement and optimize our product recommendation strategy.
Develop and maintain KPI reporting and monitoring tools to track key performance indicators and identify anomalies in our data.
Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify trends and patterns in our data and develop new insights to inform our product recommendation strategy.
Develop and maintain in-house tools and technologies to improve our data analysis and recommendation capabilities, such as our QA instrument to evaluate the performance of new algorithms before A/B testing.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, design, and AI, to develop and implement data-driven solutions that drive business results.
Communicate key findings and recommendations to senior leaders across the organization to inform business decisions.


What You'll Need
To succeed in this role, you will need:


A Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field, such as computer science, mathematics, statistics, or economics.
Experience in data analysis and science, preferably in a web-based business or e-commerce environment.
Advanced skills in SQL, including query optimization, stored procedures, and data modeling.
Proficiency in Python and Python libraries, including Jupyter notebooks, pandas, scikit-learn, and matplotlib.
Experience with A/B testing and statistical analysis to drive business decisions.
Knowledge of machine learning algorithms and techniques, including decision trees, random forests, and deep learning.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
A proven track record of taking ownership and driving results in a fast-paced environment.
Strong business acumen, analytical skills, and technical abilities, with the ability to think critically and solve complex problems.
