As a Senior Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining large-scale data pipelines, architectures, and tools to support the preparation and productionization of AI models. You will work closely with our U.S. Government Marketing section to develop and enhance our marketing capabilities with AI at its core. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain productionized data pipelines to support the preparation and productionization of AI models Collaborate with core IT groups to support the development and productionization of data pipelines Evaluate and implement industry-standard data engineering best practices Work with stakeholders to gather requirements and develop solutions to meet business needs Develop and maintain technical documentation for data pipelines and architectures Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in data engineering and AI Essential Qualifications U.S. Citizenship is required, and you must be located in the U.S. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience 4+ years of related professional data engineering experience in enterprise-level environments 3+ years of experience supporting the start-to-finish development and deployment of scalable data pipelines, including testing and production support 3+ years of experience with data warehouses, social databases, JSON, Apache Hive, Spark, or Hadoop, or related technologies with proficiency in performant Python and SQL Preferred Qualifications Experience with the U.S. Government industry Experience with the Cloudera platform and Docker containers Strong understanding of data engineering principles, including data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL Experience with machine learning and AI technologies, including model development and deployment Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At blithequark, we are committed to helping our employees grow and develop their careers.
