About the Role: Senior Data Engineer
We're seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer to join our Information and Analytics Engineering team. As a key member of this team, you'll play a critical role in driving data, analytics, and insights that are transforming the healthcare industry. You'll have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge data solutions, leveraging Google Cloud/Azure Platform and on-prem infrastructure to deliver high-quality data products and analytics solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with colleagues to identify opportunities to leverage structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data to make analytics faster, smarter, and more efficient.
Design and implement advanced data solutions using core data technologies to support next-best actions.
Develop highly scalable data architectures and data platforms that enable data integration, data management, and analytics of massive datasets from multiple channels.
Work closely with data scientists to design feature sets, conduct in-depth analysis of data elements, and integrate ML and NLP models with the data pipeline.
Re-engineer existing on-prem solutions to cloud platforms and optimize data pipeline performance.
Bring a DevOps mindset to enable big data and batch/real-time analytics solutions that leverage emerging technologies.
Essential Qualifications:
4+ years of experience in data analytics, with hands-on experience in data integration.
4+ years of experience in ETL pipelines, data architecture and design patterns, data security, cloud architecture, and automation.
2+ years of experience with Python and/or PySpark.
2+ years of experience with cloud platforms (GCP preferred, AWS or Azure acceptable).
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in Computer Science, Engineering, AI, or a related discipline.
Preferred Qualifications:
Ability to communicate technical ideas and results to non-technical stakeholders in written and verbal form.
Collaboration and interpersonal skills within and across teams.
Proven ability to create innovative solutions to complex technical problems.
Strong analytical, logical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
Experience building and implementing data transformation and processing solutions.
Ability to understand and build complex systems and solve challenging analytical problems.
Graduate degree preferred.
