Your expertise will be essential in driving the company's data-driven decision-making processes, ensuring the integrity and accuracy of its data assets, and contributing to the development of innovative data solutions. **Key Responsibilities** * Design and execute ETL/ELT data pipelines to support various projects and initiatives * Collaborate with stakeholders to gather data requirements, validate data, and ensure data quality * Develop and implement database schema, tables, and views to support business needs * Build and manage batch processes using Apache Airflow * Work with large datasets and big data technologies, preferably cloud-based, such as Snowflake, Databricks, or similar * Participate in driving best practices around data engineering and software development processes * Collaborate with teams to ensure seamless deployment across multiple environments, including DEV, QA/UAT, and PROD **Essential Qualifications and Skills** To be successful in this role, you will need: * A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field * At least 2 years of experience in a Data Engineering role * Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with database design and development * Experience with cloud-based technologies, preferably AWS and S3 * Proficiency in Python and experience with data processing and analysis * Experience with Gitlab/Github and Docker * Strong understanding of data lakes, data warehouses, and application databases * Experience working with large datasets and big data technologies **Preferred Qualifications and Skills** While not required, the following qualifications and skills are highly desirable: * A Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field * Experience with Apache Airflow, Databricks, and Snowflake * Experience working in the streaming, media, or digital advertising industry * Strong understanding of data architecture and data governance principles * Experience with agile development methodologies and version control systems **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At blithequark, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
