You will work closely with a cross-functional team of data scientists, business analysts, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality data products and insights that drive business growth and improvement. Your expertise will be essential in helping us achieve our goals and objectives, and we are excited about the opportunity to have you join our team. **Key Responsibilities** * Supervise the delivery of Walgreens Healthcare data and insights projects and initiatives, ensuring timely and accurate results that meet business requirements * Develop and maintain long-term and ad-hoc data ETL and data warehousing processes to meet Walgreens Healthcare reporting and analysis needs * Design, develop, and deploy layered data models and data pipelines to support reporting and analysis projects * Create data standards and best practices for populating consistent and accurate data models attached to report-specific working tables for both business intelligence and pre-defined reporting arrangements * Apply data extraction, transformation, and loading best practices to integrate large data sets from various internal Walgreens production system sources and external records * Perform data profiling and data analysis across internal production systems, manually maintained data, and standard healthcare data repositories (e.g., patient segmentation, clinical cases, pharmacy claims, HEDIS ECDS records) * Develop internal tools for automation of all development-related activities (data handling, QA, data approval, etc.) **Essential Qualifications** * Proven experience in writing and tuning SQL-based ETL/ELT scripts * Experience designing and deploying reasonably isolated data environments using ETL/ELT services, including but not limited to, Azure Data Factory, Databricks, or Snowflake * Experience providing technical leadership and presenting data rationalist semantic layer upgrades connected with BI technology stage like PowerBI, Tableau, or Looker * Strong verbal and written communication skills with technical teams, internal partners, clients, and vendor partners * At least 2 years of experience contributing to business decisions in the workplace * No less than 2 years of direct leadership, indirect leadership, and/or cross-functional team management * Ability to travel up to/no less than 5% of the ideal time for business purposes (within state and out of state) **Preferred Qualifications** * Knowledge of pharmacy, healthcare, and clinical research concepts **Benefits** * **Health and Wellness**: Comprehensive health insurance plans, including medical, dental, and vision coverage.
